I'm IOU1GALAXY. I've been at the table for 15-20 minutes and I have people believing I'm tilting.

I basically have Tomislav under full control, playing tight and and folding fast to the right of me. The previous hand he called my reraise to a 4 person flop then called my bet on the turn with a pair a3 against my two pair a10.

tonec1 and I have been going back and forth. Before I came I noticed in the Hand history that he bluffed with kq pushing all-in to a 2 or 3 dollar stack. He previously called my preraise with 42 preflop and likes to bet through.

koffieftw came in tight and looking to take my momentary loose stack.

So, I'm up to a point where I'm trying to slow play and take as much as I can.
This is probably not a very good hand to do this at all.

Should I have raised the s-draw on the flop or even on the turn to see where I stand? Would I be able to tell anything at these limits. Surely not with Tunec1, but just in general? Tight players might tell me something I suppose, but everyone thinks I'm full of b.s. to start with.

Do I fear the f-draw on the turn and surely should bet now?

Do I take my chances at these limits because I'm going to get called or get pushed by tonec1 or koffiefw with a drawing hand anyway, or even a pair or two pair.

Do you make the river all-in call?

Thoughts anyone?

Why are you slowing down? Sounds like you've been aggressive up till this point so continue your aggression. It's when you hit your hand (like this) that your loose aggressive image should pay off the most. The fact that you slowed down should be ringing alarm bells in your opponents heads (if they are paying attention). Bet the flop. Bet the turn. Re-reraise if given the chance, but don't go into slowplay mode when you actually hit.

As played, since you mentioned a straight draw I'm going to assume some donk with 34 lucked out on you, but I'm calling down here every time. The real problem is that you may have waited until you were beat before you got your $$ in the middle.

Here's how I woulda played it. Call preflop like you did. Check call on the flop to keep them in. Make a big bet on the turn, like 1/2 to entire pot, there's no need to continue slowplaying here since you're call on the flop told them you have something. And one of them might have hit an ace here. Then make another big bet on the river. After he raised it's very hard to fold since really only one hand beats you, 3 4, and the BB could have this hand. I doubt the button has 3 4 or 77 since 34 would fold pf and 77 would raise.

Multi way limped pots usually end in tears, hopefully not your in this case. 1st of all If I have any pp in the sb and the button limps then I'm raising here 4xbb+1bb / limper. I know I'm oop but I want to take the iniative on the hand.
The flop is good for us, If we raised pf then I don't mind the chk on the flop to gain value later. But with the limp pf, then I think leading the flop here would be my choice. I think you should definately be betting the turn as checking is just giving them more free cards to outdraw you. As played I call the river.

Ok. There are some nice replies here. 1 more question if I might.

Knowing he's a loose player who bets through with K-high, called a pre-raise with 42.

Can you fold this hand on the flop to a re-raise or all-in on the flop or turn? Wait for a better hand to attempt to take him out?

I don't think you should ever be folding a set on a non-connected, non-flushed board like this unless you have a rediculous read on villain that he would not be making a shove here without a set (I would think this would be almost never, especially at 5NL). I believe a set over set happens 1/100 times you flop a set, so you should be getting your money in every time here. Also, you should never be waiting for a better spot in ring games. If you think you have any edge at all (even if its 51%) you should still make the call, b/c u can always reload if you lose.

I get the money in on the flop if I can. Your behind 2 hands, jj, 55. I doubt he has JJ with no raise pf. 55 a small possibility but if he has it then most ppl go broke with set over set situations. I want the chips all in on the flop if I can here. If he has some horrid str8 draw then get your money in ahead.
