I put him on a set of 6s or 7s after the flop, or maybe he's fooling around with AA or KK. Worst case, I'd put him on a couple of clubs.

In this situation, I see myself being beaten where I stand or certainly by the river. I'm outta here!

I contemplated on folding at about a 99% rate, but then something triggered me of calling. I guess it was the fact that he lost 2 huge hands about 5 hands back, and one was a suck out that he might be on tilt. As it turned out, I was right as he turned over K Q.

I usually wouldn't make this call, but just that little thing inside me told me to call this one, and it payed off.

These are called "reads" and they're one of the most important things when playing poker at low stakes. This can go from an insta fold to a "gee, can I take out a loan to get more $ in the pot" kind of call if you have the right read.

Yea c8h13no3, but lately, when I say I had a "read" on someone, I get dumb responses, so choose to illaberate on it this time. So, what do you think, what's the right move for this c9h13no3?

If he's tilting, and you've got some good evidence that he's flipped his lid, then go ahead and call. But in general I don't like calling these overbets with just TPTK without some evidence that our villain has the ability to stack with less.

This is quite a common spot on the micro's. Without reads the answer is quite simple.

We DO NOT, play for stacks in a multi-way pot with TPTK. If we start to do this, then we become very very readable, and it makes sense for our opponents to call almost every single one of our raises with ATC, becuase of the implied odds that we are spewing. If this was a tournament the discussion changes lots, but its not, this is a deep stacked decision.
