Was donking it up at a 10NL FR on Full Tilt when a player joined the table.
A railer soon followed and warned everybody that the player that just joined typically went all-in on big pairs, and then leaves. The railer accused the player of being a Bot.

So, I decided to test him from the small blind:

Is it just strange behavior, or is something more mysterious going on?

Next time in BB, he did the same thing. And for that matter - in the SB too - He always kept a $2 bank.

if it isnt a bot well I reckon thats a pretty good tactic, get a friend to rail you and tell people youre a bot, then make 5 x BB raises and watch em fold.

If it isn't a bot, he's one hell of a patient player... he's been on for a good percentage of over 100 hands and has bet exactly once. Everything else he folded, and all the while never going under $2 in his bank. He was up to $2.25 after everybody folded to him pre-flop, but after a couple rounds of blinds, he was back to reloading .05 and .10 each blind he folded.

I mean, come on, here's my stats: (OK... don't tell me how badly I'm playing either)

Statistics for 121 Hands
Street Saw Saw/Total
Flop 38 31%
Turn 18 15%
River 12 10%
Showdown 9 7%
Street Won Won/Saw Won/Total
Pre-flop 0 0% 0%
Flop 6 16% 5%
Turn 2 11% 2%
River 0 0% 0%
Showdown 3 33% 2%

His would be 1 flop, 0 turn, and 0 river for almost 100 hands.

Funny, right after I read this I spotted a player at my table who folded 30 hands in a row then suddenly reraised all in with 55. I kept watching and eventually he did a few limps and other random plays, so probably not a bot.

We also had a player at that table who kept pointing out button raises from other people, suggesting they were bluffs. I think if you look for anything hard enough you'll find it. That player already has someone reporting him, so if there is fishiness and the site cares to investigate they'll find it. They will be in a much better place to review his play.

It could easily just be someone with a weird strategy.

Apart from the guy saying he's a bot what evidence do you have that he's a bot? I'm not familiar with the way FTP HHs work, but he probably just had auto-rebuy on. I know most people who play a good amount of volume use it. From the sounds of it he's a shortstacker, and a bad one at that. He probably doesn't do terrible and just gets his stack in with a good hand. Most shortstackers will steal light and 3-bet shove light for most of their profit but this guy probably heard from somewhere that if they are a shortstack nit they'll win. Surprise surprise when he finds out that even at 5% rake his strategy probably won't work, but with 10% rake he's gonna get raped.

ps don't play at 10nl at Full Tilt. They rape you with rake.

Good advice. Thanks Zach.

You also could have told me beforehand that the 10NL players are complete idiots and will call you down or come over the top with complete crap and then draw out on you. Note for over 120+ hands I never won a hand pre-flop. 3x, 4x and even 5x pre-flop raises (in position even!) got no respect. If I ever wanted to clean out my full tilt account, I just found the best way to do it.

And Baudib, its $0.05/0.10 no limit table, not $10.
