Ok here is how my hand played out.
I am on the Button, ten players at the table, I am one of the shortest if not the shortest stack at the table with $117.
On the button I am dealt AA's. 5 people limping in, I raise it to $11 (the one aggressive kid had been making raises of 11 on a great deal of hands, so I thought this raise would disguise my hand as a kind of friendly joke bet, but still get some people out while getting money in). Anyway all five called after the SB and BB folding.
Pot: $58
Flop comes 8d 5c 3d
First player bets out $25, two player folds, one calls, I reraise all in, $81 on top.
Pot is now $211.
First player to lead out folds after some thought, and then the last player calls stating, "I had to call"
We all probably know now that he did in fact have the flush draw Kd5d, and yes he did catch the flush on the river.
Woulda been a nice hand to win and it has pretty much been haunting me since Saturday.
Obviously I dont like his first two calls with K5 suited, but I think his calling my all in was possibly correct, what are your thoughts on the hand?
