Bombjack getting pwned at Omaha

A lesson in how not to play. Was doing pretty well apart from this hand. Got greedy and tried to bluff without a high hand so I could scoop... but it backfired.

That really sucks when you only end up getting 1/4 of the pot on the nut low hand, but you were quite lucky that the 7 fell to even get a low hand!

I think the bet on the flop was OK, with any card A-5 giving me the wheel, 6 for the nut straight, 6 7 or 8 for the nut low, plus a flush draw.

Turn bet... hmm, should probably have taken a free card.

You had lots of outs; I suck at PLOH (so I don't know what my opinion is worth) but I'd definitely be hammering at this pot with the wrap wheel draw and a small flush draw.

There are 19 cards which are A-6 which will make me a straight
7 further spades for the flush
= 26 cards

6 further 7s or 8s for the nut low

I suppose with 46 cards unseen by the turn, and 26 of them making a straight or flush, the turn bet is actually pretty good. Possiblility the flush cards aren't clean. Should have checked the river though.

Correcting... of course 2s and 4s won't give me the straight.

I think you answered your own question. Take that free card on the turn..I highly doubt the OP would bet out heavily with one pair and a potential flush out there.
