This is a flop I'm rarely c-betting as it hits your opponents' ranges so hard that it's not worth fighting for - ie they don't fold often enough for a c-bet to be profitable.
As played on the turn we should probably bet a lot bigger - probably around 70-80c or so.
As played on the river it's a check-fold to any significant bet for me. Any jack, slowplayed two pair/set, flush, straight now has you beat.

Thanks Chuck. I totally misplayed this one from the flop. I probably should have checked the flop and folded to any decent bet. I usually try to bet out when I have position, but I shouldn't have with this kind of flop.
So I overplayed my A on the turn (probably a safe bet with a poor flop), and I felt I had no choice but to call the river.
If I missed anything, feel free to beat me over the head with it.

But did you actually think this through, or were you just scared by the 2 of a suit and people flat calling? What was your thinking that made you believe you were facing a flush draw? Not saying you were wrong to assume that (and you did end up being right, but that's irrelevent), just curious as to your logic.

Good questions. I interpreted all of the calling (pre-flop, flop, turn) as a pretty good indication that at least one of my callers was drawing to a flush. I suppose IF I was going to re-play this hand past the flop I should have placed a much stronger bet on the turn, no?
