I c-bet for 30$, but the rest looks pretty standard. Reads can make the turn a shove.

Strange line for the villian to take. He raises almost every time he is in preflop so when he calls the cutoffs raise I'm thinking he is either

(1)playing his position with a weaker hand like KQ,KJ,AT+ or

(2)he is sitting on a pocket pair and wants to get a peak at the flop.

When he calls your much larger raise I'd get very suspicious that he is slow playing a big pair. He is not super tight, but tight enough to know that the weaker hands mentioned above are no good preflop (unless he's got a read on you as LAG)

I like the cbet on the flop, but when he calls again I'm done with the hand. His bet on the turn seems like the 3rd spade scared him and he is probing to see where he is at, but I think he is still ahead of you at this point so I like the fold.

Not sure if I love the preflop raise OOP, but I usually play full ring/tourney so maybe it's different with 6 max.

nah, preflop is super standard here.

in agreement with c9 about making the flop bet a little stronger. other than that, this is the standard way to play it

I don't agree with reraising with AQ in that position. Just ask Doyle Brunson.

obv we should only 3bet premium hands at 6max, that's not exploitable or obvious at all

Actually NVM I just noticed 6 max. I would have done the same thing. Full 9 man game though I don't do that.

Just for what its worth, I squeeze here against players that open light with all sorts of garbage. AQ is near the top of that range.

Also, button's hand looks like a medium strength pocket pair or JTs, and it looks like he's the type to "outplay" people preflop, and he has solid stats. If I knew he was capable of floating with weak hands like TT or a jack, then I would shove the turn with our gutshot and possible overcard.

The only thing I would do differently is maybe pump it up a bit more the cbet, maybe $30ish. Aside from that, I guess it's pretty standard.
