Don't use a HUD. Table play hasn't been anything spectacular. Normal mix up. I've been playing a little tight. What should have been my play here?

* UTG+1 with $9.95
* MP1 with $2.00
* MP2 with $11.85
* CO with $16.05
* BTN with $13.40
* SB with $12.60
* BB with $5.80
* UTG with $10.00

I would 3-bet pre flop 99.9% of the time to a cut off raise ,you are the button for christ sake.

Prefer 3 bet preflop, SB is likely only in because of pot odds - but as played, I think you're right, this is a made flush, made straight, or two pair. Can't lay it down on the turn with TP and nut flush draw, and I don't like shoving here - but I'd be interested in what you think of the shove, since I'm a nit :D - call, push river on a spade, otherwise get to showdown as cheaply as possible.

If Villain shoves the river and your hand doesn't improve, I think you have to lay it down.

Problem is imo where not geting paid off that often(or much $ wise) when we hit the nut flush on a 4 to flush board unless villain has the K or Q of spades.

Its totaly villain depended if im 3-beting here pre-flop but i probably prefer that line a lot of times.
Flop i dont mind calling but dont mind squesing there,with no reads SB might be doing that with a huge range(sets,87,67,98 with 9s,T9,45, spade,Ks8,A8,small OP ect).
On the turn i have no problem with jamming with TPGP +NFD even on this board.

I didn't 3 bet the pot PF because this is one hand I don't like to hit too hard PF. The flop bet seemed more of a Cbet to me to take down the pot. He was giving me the odds to draw to the nutz here. Is the NFD and TPGK worth shoving with that board on the turn? Or how about the river?

klitkat: calls $1
*** RIVER *** [6s 8s 7s Ad] [Kd]
chico81377: bets $3
klitkat: ?

I 3bet in position preflop usually...tough without a HUD..is villain betting AJ or worse for value on the end? I think we need to ask ourselves if we are paying odd the river if the spade doesn't hit. As played, I fold the river without any weird history with this guy.

Good response, thanks, I don't consider this often enough, and I think it affects my Ev significantly...

I called the river. The results are far outside of what I put him on. The thing is, was this really played bad by myself, or was it just one of those things?

Turn:

A♦
SB bets [$0.50]
1 players fold.
Hero raises $1 to $1.50
SB raises $1 to $2.50
Hero calls [$1]
Total folds this street: 1
Potsize: $7.8
River:
K♦
SB bets [$3]
Hero calls [$3]
Results:
SB shows three of a kind, Kings:
K♥ K♠ Hero doesn't show.
SB collected $13.15 from pot

Weird play on his part. Nothing you can do there I guess.
