sorry forgot reads, villain is pretty aggressive, saw him cap KQs unimproved on the flop, but isnt completely loose-aggressive. has also showed restraint

I'll take a guess and say he's holding J-J or Q-J, K-J or A-J suited.

Limit is a mystery to me. I'd say it's impossible to tell, apart from the fact that he's bet / raised at every opportunity. AA would play like this, as would AK, as would AQ, 99, maybe 55 and A9s. Shouldn't you fold on the flop, since he probably doesn't have a worse hand that KT (pair or big Ace likely), and you're only 12% to improve on the turn?

i actually put him on something like 88. river made me think better than that though, i asked before i folded if he had QQ, and he showed that he did.

I didn't put him on Q-Q b/c of his weak raise pre-flop.

I put him on Ace-x if he's aggressive.

How can you tell it's QQ rather than KK, or AK or a whole load of other hands?

Indeed, putting someone on a specific hand ( 88 type hand for instance ) is slightly like searching out the holy grail, one out of every 300 times you might prove yourself right.
Thats about 99.7% of the time you will be wrong.
