Are people generally going to call a one-card flush with a low card? I don't even know how likely people are to have the fifth card when four of the same suit come down.
Well its not so much if they'll call with a low flush or not, its the fact that they're probably not calling you with anything worse than 3 jacks. This is a simple check/call situation. People will bluff this board, and you have a fair amount of showdown value. So you want to get to showdown as cheaply as possible.
Generally, when you have a hand like 3 jacks (or even 2nd pair) you don't want to be doing a lot of bluffing
, because your hand has value! You can just check, show it down, and often win the pot. Bluff when you have no equity what-so-ever, so that way you're not making the mistake of betting just to fold out hands that you already have beat.
