Aside from betting more on flop I think you played this fine. Nasty result, just brush it off.

Preflop is too small - we want to raise 4-5bbs, so $1 or $1.25 or so. Postflop is good.

Again too small pf. Raise to at least $3. Postflop is fine again - I think we should be prepared to play for stacks, especially since he's a little short and the fact that there's a FD out there.

Go ahead and limp here with your suited connector - not many players pull squeeze plays at these stakes and you can be pretty sure you're going to see a cheap flop here which is exactly what you want.

I of course don't have stats, but against the loose, bad types of players (generally the type who will minraise), I'm calling an EP minraise with probably any two cards. I probably pitch K2 and those really trash hands, but any two remotely connected or suited cards I'm seeing a flop with since our implied odds are so big.

Again I'm stats-less, and I also haven't played 25nl in quite a while, but stealing is very, very, very profitable. Not only for it's direct value but for it's implicit value, ie the image it gives you. I noticed you're playing like 9/5 this session and I hope those aren't your overall stats now.

I know at the lower stakes players are much less likely to both give you respect for steals but also to actually notice you (and give you more action later because of it, etc), but the effect is still there and the direct value you gain from stealing is well worth it.

Like I said earlier, I tried to record these hands in the PT replayer (which didn't work out, stupid mic), and one thing I noticed is that you're extremely tight! Way tighter than I remember...anyways that's something that should be changed imo.

Pretty bad flop for you, but definitely worth the c-bet. After the call there's really nothing to do but ch-f. I double barrel most J+ cards on the turn, but with those types of connected cards dropping I'm almost always ch-folding unless I have some incredible read and can either double barrel or ch-r.

This hand should have gone raise-bet-bet. That flop is great for a c-bet and you can continue the pressure by betting the scary K turn to scare out a lot of smaller pairs and floats.

Seems to be another recurring thing - reraise more preflop! You want full value with these hands so raise it up to $5.50 or so.

A limp is fine too. I raise ATs+, AJ+ and KQs+ UTG+1 and earlier now at 100nl as a default, but at the lower stakes where you get less respect you should be tightening up a little. Again limping is fine since you rarely get the positional raisers as you do in 50nl+.

Good pf, though maybe a little more with the additional caller. Postflop, without reads, a fold is the play I think. Getting like 2.2:1 isn't quite enough as our gutshot and overcards are tainted.

Flop is ok, a little too fancy. After the ch-c, the turn ch-c is fine with reads (ie if he's not an absolute nit), but there are very few players who will triple barrel with a worse hand than yours on the river there.

Most of the time I'm folding this pf, but if I feel I can get enough respect from the remaining players behind me and can outplay the limper/am ahead of the limpers range then I'll go ahead and raise to isolate him. Otherwise a limp is a little weak but not terrible.

Try raising with position with these types of hands. The value of your hand matters very little, your position a LOT. 3bb+1bb per limper.

Call with these hands if the conditions are right (position, bad players, small likelyhood of getting squeezed). These are the monster-making hands and these are great spots to get in cheap. This is a little loose here, but I'm usually calling it if my opponents are bad enough.

Need I say...anything at all?
Hope this was reads-based trying to trap a chronic open pusher or something.

Summary:
-Steal more
-Raise with position more
-Raise more (size-wise) preflop
-Try experimenting. Do things that you normally wouldn't do and see how they work out (like squeezing, or raising 46s utg, or 3-betting light).

My hockey coach once said "the only way to improve is to push yourself past your comfort level" and I think it applies to more than hockey. You're playing way too tight right now and way too passive as well.

Nice comments Chuck.

Question Tygan; did you feel in this session that you were playing unusually tight, or is this your regular game? I ask because sometimes I just feel like I'm playing tigher than usual and it can be tough to get freed out of that.

Been taking a lot of beats lately Tygran? Seems like your playing not to lose much rather than to win. Very tight and passive is a bad combo. When I start playing like this I try to play a few SnGs rather than rings. Nothing like some real good short-handed aggression to get you back into the right frame of mind and you don't have to risk much of your BR to do it.

I know it's unsolicited, so pardon any faux pas, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
I tried my best not to look at ChuckT's comments.
Also, I play the $25 6-max, which is more aggressive, so I might be a bit biased toward aggression.
Any criticism on my comments would be enlightening as well so please post any disagreements and your reasoning behind them.

This seems weak to me. 7/7 would be hand #10 in Hellmuth's top ten hands. You probably have the best pre-flop, but won't post-flop, so chase out the riff-raff. With two limpers, I'd do the average bet plus two BB's ($1.50).
With $1 in the pot and someone probably with the King I'd raise 3/4 the pot to $.75 instead of 50% of the pot.
After that, stuff seems fine to me. You just got burned by someone who was priced in to draw for his double belly buster. He could have easily played that way with K/9.

Again, someone bet so you want to raise the standard plus one BB. To me, $1 is standard so raise to $1.25. You have a good hand *and* position. Make him pay to play. He'd call that extra $.50 with anything that he'd limp with, and that gives him a chance to hit something dangerous/tricky.

There's $1.30 in the pot at this point. He's put in $1, so I'd make him double that to play, IE, betting $3. Now it'll cost him $2 at a $4+ pot.
Betting 4/5 the pot on the flop was OK with suited connectors on the board.

With two limpers I'd go ahead and limp with suited connectors. Chances are you'll get another couple limpers in the pot. If someone raises to $.75, everyone will (and should) call. I'd bail if raised $1 though.

Owaioman's raise is weak. A min raise from UTG? why would someone do that? Is he really tight (which all the folding indicates) or just weak? I'm guessing he had 5/5.
It costs you $.25 to win $.60. Even with bad position that's worth a call with K/T.
Chances are you'll both miss the flop and you'll take the pot when you make a continuation bet and he fears some overcard.

A agree with the fold in the SB. No need to steal here. If you've folded the previous two SB's, then go agead and take a stab at it. Personally I bet $.75 (instead of $1) whenever I'm SB and am betting at an uncontested pot.

Most of the time I'd fold Q/To on the button. But the table has been really passive, and you just folded the SB, so the BB is going to give me a little more credit for having a hand. I'd raise to $1. If you're called you're still probably 40% to win... more when you factor in the advantage of position. And you're going to take the pot uncontested 2/3 of the time.

Back when you had Q/Q I recommended doubling his bet. A/A is quite a bit better than Q/Q, so you want to keep the guy in the pot and extract more value.
I like your re-raise.
On the flop I like the check with top set and two people left to act. I assume you were looking to check/raise.
And calling the all-in with the nuts is an acceptable play as well. :) If it were me, I'd go into the tank trying to make it look liek a relucant call, on the off chance that 00Govan00 calls. (Note, in a live game I'd never do that as it'd seem like slowrolling and I'd deserve a good o'l punch in the face).

Second to act with A/Jo? I'd let the previous several hands dictate my action. If I'd been folding lately I'd limp. If I've been active, I'll fold. If the table was aggressive it'd be an easy fold, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
(Note: I don't think half the people at the table will notice if you've been quiet lately, but the people who don't notice aren't usually the ones you have to look out for)

Where did this scottiet33 guy come from? I assume he bought in for $20 and is losing, or $15 and is winning? A history would be nice.
He raises to $1.25 pre-flop into an uncontested pot. Why not just $1? I immediatly put him on a large pair. Maybe a T/T or J/J that wants to scare off K/Q-like hands, or maybe A/A or K/K.that wants to get paid. In this case I'd be looking to just call. If I was out of position I'd raise.
You chose to raise, which is still a valid path, however with Phanthem in the pot I think you should have raised more to isolate Scottiet33. Scottiet33 has $16.60 left and there's $3 in the pot (18% of what what he has left), so if you get all-in against Scottie33 at this point you're +EV against anything but A/A and K/K. However, if he calls most of the time he'll have those A/A or K/K. People don't stack off with Q/Q as often as I'd like them to. (To second guess myself, he has $18.10 in chips which would make him a bit more likely to stack off with Q/Q.)
Anyway, I'm not happy shoving against an unknown in this situation.
Folding when he shoved on the flop was the right move. I don't think anybody would disagree with that. Any card that helps us could give him two pair. Or if he had that J/J or Q/Q, we're in bad shape as well. We're only drawing to a gut-shot at that point.

On the river, he's not going to bet again unless he has you beat. Check/fold.

I actually listed the stacks in this one because it's a bigger factor this hand than in most of the others.
5/6 suited is good to limp with when two big stacks are already in the pot. I'd limp in and hope that others do the same.
Low suited connectors like that are easy to get away from, and they can turn into hidden monsters.
If Ron and JT has small stacks I'd just fold.

If Garry had an ace or better he'd probably have raised pre-flop. You probably have the best hand at this point, so raise him when he limps and try to take his quarter.

The $.25 limp is weak. Even with 5/5 I'd be raising to disguise my drawing hands, and J/J is a little better than a drawing hand (it's a "don't draw out on me" hand). Bet $1. Out of position like that I might even bet more. You want to chase out the A/x, K/x, Q/x hands that limp in and then beat your pair.
I'm OK with everything after the flop though.

Summary: Be more aggressive pre-flop.

I have to disagree with you on this, Penguin. If you're closing the action, pretending to tank with the nuts is obviously slow-rolling. But if you're hoping to get an overcall from someone left to act behind you, I would never consider that a slowroll. Even more-so in live play. If I were the third person and you insta-called the all in, it would make me think twice about staying in the pot.
