bw asked me via PM if I could do an analysis of his session, and I said sure, why not. So here it is:

Good, aggressive play with the aces. Good bet sizing PF and postflop. Pretty standard here, but wp.

A little too weak of a hand to be limping here; we can pull a little positional bet, though for like $2. We've got a pretty tight image so far and it will work often enough for it to be profitable.

Again a little weak here with the limp. Don't mind it that much, though, as we've got Mr. Calling station in the hand again, and if we hit the flop hard we can rake in a nice pot with any luck.

I prefer getting involved with these types of multiway hands vs weaker players because it gives me that little added edge of being able to outplay them postflop on top of the fact that I have the possibility of hitting a good flop. A guy like ppierce isn't folding to us if he's hit any part of a flop.

Good-sized bet. Note how much respect everyone is giving you. This is one of those great spots that TAGs (or even strong LAGs) can make a lot of money with squeezes.

Players generally pin TAGs on a big pair or AK when they make bets this big PF, so switching it up and making a steal with JTs or 77 works wonders.

I dunno about the check-raise here. The only upside I can think of is that you'll get a c-bet from villain out of it as opposed to leading and seeing him fold.

I don't like it because we're just putting in way more for info than had we just led for 80c, and we're committing ourselves more to the pot. I just lead, and probably fold to a reraise.

We've got a decent hand here, with position, and have the opportunity to see a flop 3 or 4 handed with a nice multiway hand. I call here, though with the mental note not to get too involved if the flop comes Jxx or Qxx.

Much better than limping with J9o though.

I think it comes down to your reads on jer and how aggressive he is. He could very easily have J9, 99 or T9 here, but could also have a weird 2 pair. I won't argue with a fold. Interesting hand all in all.

All in all, a solid session. A couple PF limps I didn't like (see J9, 69), but other than that I think you play a good TAG game.

Hope this helped out in some way, bw.

nice analysis chuck. I tried to play extra good cuz I knew u would be going thru the session. I should try to play like that all the time. I just donked off a buy in doing stupid move after stupid move and getting impatient with marginal hands. Oh well, theres always tomorrow.
