3,3 doesn't make any sense because they both went all in before the 4 hit. A,K and A,A seem unlikely b/c of pre and post flop betting. Ummmmmm I would guess that one of them has A,5 ( or A,2 ) while the other has 3,4

Get the feeling its one of those questions where sense doesnt come into it!

No-one's got it so far. They both had strong hands, but not what I expected.

If you find that amazing, I've seen AA vs AK 3 times in the same orbit, with the 4th Ace coming out twice. It's ridiculous man! That's how the 'rigged' poker sites theory came about I guess. Still, AA vs KK, that's a tough one, with A and K on the board, I pity the one holding KK. He must have thought that he flopped King set and probably expect the chips to ship his way.

Imagine his disappointment. He probably kicked his cat after that hand.

Exactly. I've argued before that you can avoid losing all your money in a set-over-set situation, but not this one. Some PF action might have helped the KK guy figure out that the other guy had a strong hand, but he's still going broke. Seeing that flop, you pretty much have to assume the other guy had QQ, Ax or even AK, so you're way ahead (in your mind) and going broke on the showdown.

funnily enough, I played this exact situation out last night (yes, I had the AA, but with something like 24xBB from each of three players preflop).
The funny thing was that it was the third guy, hold AQ, who was betting the flop and pushing the turn. Me and the poor SOB with the KK were both trying to slow-play it!

Man, the guy with K's has got to be fuming. Especially the super back door one to the flush. I have seen more amazing things happen (unfortunately I was involved and not benefitting).

That is just terrible luck, had him where he wanted him and he squirmed away.
