Am I protecting against the float here or just being stupid?

Small sample but villian seems solid. Is this an easy fold unless your SURE hes trying to float?

Fold the turn. He's floating you so rarely, that it won't make up enough for the times where you're crushed stupid by an ace.

I probably wouldn't c-bet this flop either.

I don't see any reason donking off 4 bucks on the turn. Ace is there gotta not make a hero call here. Your also out of position so your pretty much screwed.

and if i check, do i call a pot sized bet?

Me, I'm probably checking this on the flop, as I'm out of position. I might float off a reasonable bet and see what the turn brings. But, I'd definitely fold that turn. You had 2 preflop callers. One of them was bound to have called with an ace.
