Am I committed?

So there are really short stacks here and I sucked out huge. Everything seems pretty standard. After a 3 bet the pot is huge compared to stacks I figured I was committed if I hit the flop. But against a supertight opponent, I'm guessing he only bets here with AK or AQ. Even kings or queens might have called a bet but wouldn't lead out for his whole stack. Is a fold possible here? Also had this flop missed me and he checked, what would you do?
