Still first orbit of the table so no reads, meaning also they have none on me.

Standard raise, gets two callers behind, and then 3 bet from a fully stacked SB. How often is he squeezing here with AK? Is it worth finding out if he's doing so with AQ?

I fold this as we are OOP and can get away now cheaply. At best your flipping vs a smaller pair or way behind AA/KK and splitting with AK, so not much we can give villian that we beat. With no reads I fold.

I originally said no reads on me but then the reason I'm down a few chips is because I called a PF raise and flop bet my first time in the BB, folded to a turn bet. Bit of a spewy play given I usually try not to play anything first orbit unless I get something like the AKs here.

What hands would you make the SBs play with here? One raise and calls, you'll be OOP, and if you can get me to fold, the others might follow as well. AA/KK obviously, though I've got one of each myself cutting down the likelihood.

QQ?
JJ?
AK?
TT?
AQ?

When I saw it I thought, nice play, although an easy one if he does indeed have AA/KK.

As the SB I make this play only with JJ+

I shove KK/AA and fold all else as every other hand risks mega domination or sligtly behind when we have AK v QQ.

Do you mean from my position or from the SB?

I folded, but I like the SB play if he had AK. Too risky for me from there if it's AQ, but on the other hand, if he gets me to fold, the other two behind likely don't have AA/KK/QQ/AK.

I think the SB play is excellent and puts his opponents in a very trcky situation. Really if he decides he has enough fold equity his range could be huge but for most players its more along the lines of only doing this with premiums.

Yes i was reffering to your position when i said i shove KK/AA and fold all else.

He turned out to be pretty tight, so it may well have been a very good fold on my part. Always tougher early on though.
