Your thoughts on how I played this.
Villian has entered most pots with marginal hands, that is my reason for being so aggressive.

Id say the preflop raise was waaaaaaaay too weak. You invited all the limpers to stay on and youre out of position against all of them. This couldve potentially been a lot of trouble if another ace or king hit two pairs.

FLop and after is well played and standard id say. Youve hit top pair and can be pretty sure its best hand, specially since the one caller you got was loose.

thats what is sweet about this table, most are standard TAG players and I've been 3-betting every hand I decide to play, so those who have been paying attention have not been able to put me on a hand, I've shown down a strong PP down to suited connectors so I've been able to steal a few pots this way and when I do have a hand, I most likely get payed off.
TBH, it's a new strategy I've been experimenting with at different levels, and so far it has been more profitable at this level.

This. 4BB+1BB for every limper is the rule of thumb. You protect your hand and pull in all the dead money.

so your telling me that a 9xBB would have been the norm for the hand in question? a bit excessive, don't you think? considering I was OOP.
You see, my goal here is to minimize losses and maximize profit, with the bet as low as I have it ATM(still in the experimental stages) I can allow myself to fold to most raises where the odds are against me and fold to any aggression on the flop without a substantial loss if I dont hit, heck.......even when I don't hit I'm the aggressor most times.:D

So, this is like an in-between strategy; you raise enough to get the pot slightly bigger and chase a few hands, then have control on the flop and just toss it less expensively when you miss?

AK/AQ I'm somewhat ambivalent about anyways, but would you do this with JJ/TT as well, or just the big connecting hands?

There's $1.75 in the pot already, most of it (if not all) dead money. You shouldn't be upset to take it down right there. By raising only 50c you won't accomplish much except "sweetening the pot", and you're still OOP. In this case you only got 1 player to fold. AK in the BB can be enough trouble, leave alone playing it 6-handed. In the long run you're probably expected to lose more than you win if you play AK in this fashion. But, if this is the way you prefer it, then you're better off not raising at all and just smooth call PF, then see what the flop brings and take it from there.

The problem with this strategy is that if the flop brings an A and you make TP, you'll never know if its enough because you allowed players with A-rag to be in this pot and they might hit a silent 2 pair by the river costing you alot in the process.

lets start at original raise of .50 that is fine actually and now we add....

Eiwons: calls $0.25
AlexanderT: folds
RiverRapage: folds
ziegebasket: calls $0.25 1
k0y0t: calls $0.25 2
DenisD1982: calls $0.25 3
likker: calls $0.25 4
Long Dien: calls $0.15 5
Orion469: raises $0.50 to $0.75

5x.25 = 1.25 + .75 = $2
pop it to $2 and should get rid of the stranglers.

DenisD1982: calls $0.50
likker: calls $0.50

ok here you are going to 3bet and add a big blind for every single limper so look in red above. Its all about pot control, other then that you played that hand fine.

I would go 3x but 4x is also fine its only difference of .25.

the thing is you are not trying to build a pot with AK but your hand is favored over what the range of limping hands are. Like someone said taking it down preflop is fine.

yeah i'd prefer to take it down preflop than get 6 callers. you're doing here what a lot of button raises are about; abusing weak-tight dead money.
