I can't for the life of me find the hand history so I'll just have to recreate this from memory.

$25 NL FR

UTG has ~$5 and is terrible
BB has ~$60 and is unknown
Everyone else is average stacks.

I'm on the Button with AJo with UTG plus two others limping to me.

UTG: calls .25
UTG+1: folds
MP1: folds
MP2: calls .25
MP3: calls .25
CO: folds
BB (Hero): raises $2.00 to $2.25
SB: folds
BB: calls $2.00
UTG: Raises $2.75 to $5.00 and is all in.
MP2: folds
MP3: folds
BB (Hero): ???

First off what would you do here? I know the BB will shove extemely weak hands and I fully expect my AJ to be beating his range pretty soundly. I have no idea about the BB so I don't want to fold but I have to worry about how to respond to any action the BB might take.

I'd probably put in another raise, you want to isolate against the player with the crap hand, I'd say the big blind likely has something like a medium pair you might be able to get him to fold out depending on what your stack is.

ah word, that makes sense.

I agree that it looks like the BB could be on something marginal. So many people yet to act and he just flats, it's got to be like TT or a similar ace. I really don't know what the standard of play at 25nl is like anymore, so I don't know if your 'average' unknown will lay down a hand like that to a 4bet. Another issue is the bet sizes. We've got 25 effective and utg has just put in >1/5th of our stack, so a raise is definitely going to commit us.

To me it looks like it's either fold, or shove. I'm leaning towards shoving to scare out the BB and get the fish isolated.
