Remember raise > call. 15/9 would be better at 15/13.

Play more buttons. ATS of 17 is really low, especially since you're VPIP is 15%. That means you're playing OOP too often.

You may be playing a little too loose for your stakes. ABC wins at micros.

Nobody can say a lot from your stats because all we really see is your preflop game. Post hands for analysis. It will help you infinitely more than a few people commenting on these stats.

Your pfr % should be closer to your vp$p %, you're limping too often. Try raising more pf. Your W$SD % is a little low. Folded bb to steal hu is too high, defend your bb more often. Overall agg fctr seems a bit low.

Do you have your overall stats from all positions? Post those as well plz.

EDIT: OOP = Out Of Position (to answer above)

thanks for your input storm.

TBH though the ONLY time i EVER limp is when i have a small pocket pair, thats it..otherwise i raise or fold pretty much.

i found that at 5NL when i raise with a small PP i get 3 betted more often than not and lost money

NEVER OPEN LIMP!

If you don't think raising small pairs is profitable, fold them.

The difference in your VPIP/PFR is also because you call too many bets when there is a raise in front of you. Think in this order when someone opens in front of you. Fold? 3bet? Fold? Call?

NEVER OPEN LIMP!

LOL. Just had a look at my db to see how many times I had open limped. Of 198,275 hands I have at 50nl I have open limped 173 times or just under .09%. I am ashamed that the number is that high.

Look at how constant your VPIP is from UTG through the BTN. Do you really think that the same hands are profitable regardless of position?

You can probably cut the number of hands you play in half from UTG/UTG+1 and double it on the BTN. Gradually add in hands for each position in between. For example you might fold 22-66 from UTG/UTG+1 and start raising them from MP1 on. Folding AJ from EP should also be routine and even AQ if you find yourself getting into a lot of trouble with it when OOP.

I found at 2nl and 5nl playing as tight as 9/8 is very profitable (i'm a super nit).

The advice above is pretty much all super. UTG i've been known to fold AQ though sometimes I play it. AJ is an easy fold. 10's+ you can play for a raise but if you get action from a very tight player then you may want to call for the implied odds, otherwise fold it for the single raise (unless he's a complete fish). You could through everything except QQ+ UTG and it wouldn't be wrong but even I can't nit up that much :).

Like WV said add hands up to the button. You want to open up a ton on the button, any broadway, SC's, most aces if not all. Strong kings especially suited. You have position post-flop and it makes these hands so much easier to play.

Oh one more thing, don't treat the CO (one before button) the same as the button, especially if you have a player with half a brain to your left.

Try looking at some hand value charts that can show you the progression of how to open up more as you move position.

Good luck.

It is kind of interesting that your VPIP dips about 2% in the CO-1 and CO-2. Like Hillbilly said, positionally, your VPIP should be the lowest at UTG(position #1) and work it's way up to the highest being on the Button, because you have less people to act behind you, not only helping in the sense that you have less of a chance that someone behind you has a hand pre-flop, but also so that post-flop you will have position on your opponents.

The drop is likely just due to sample size.

Your blind defense stats show you are folding your bb 83.59% - that's "wtf is wrong" - lol! It's too high! Do you notice when you play that your blinds are raised often? People are picking up on the fact that you are folding them 83% of the time to raises.

WV & Absolut are correct. Good advice given.

They are right about your pos stats as well, I had a feeling they would off and that's why I asked you to post them. That was one of my biggest mistakes as well. Your vpip% should be highest on btn, next highest in the co, and gradually decreasing to it being the lowest utg.

Try to not to feel bad about it. My stats looked worse than yours as far as vpip from pos. I just got HEM this year, used it for 2 months then my puter broke. I'm getting it back next week and I really miss not having HEM while I play.

Anyways, don't take any of this personally. I thought I had a pretty good grasp on playing poker and from being here and reading books, etc; I felt I was really growing as a poker player, until I got HEM. When I got HEM it was a shocker to learn I was still making so very many mistakes. It was frustrating but my game was improving when I started to read posts from others and the regulars here responding to them about how the stats should look.

**WV - I love your pic btw!

Great advice man. I think my biggest problem is i have a hard time folding a PP (even 22) preflop even to a raise...just because the fact that if i hit i know i can make a load of money. Hopefully with all this new advice i will be able to nit up.
