Only 8 hands in my PT database on the current player. Another one of those big hands that I seem to get married to, but this minraise kind of looks like someone protecting their draw. I would think a bigger raise would scare me off, but what do you do with that min reraise at you.

this can mean a ton of hands. A6h/AQh/66/QTh/KJ/AK/2 random hearts/etc a repop is probably a shove, since you're kinda underolled in comparison to him and $7 kinda committs you.

this is also why you dont pot bet. betting, say, .85 gives you more room to reraise/fold.

he either has KJ or a set imo. At worst he has KQ. You either need to raise him here and find out exactly where you are, or you need to fold. A call here simply shows weakness... and he's almost certainly going to fire a continuation bet on the turn. I think raising him to 5$ is the right play.

EDIT: I didn't read the chip stacks. You should either push or fold here IMO.

His raise doesn't mean you're beat, his range here is very wide as pointed out by joose. TBH though, in these cases, when you don't know much about opponent, I tend to play weak/tight. I would smooth call here and see what he does on the turn. You might lose in value, but you're not really sure you're ahead.

It's best to keep the pot small when you can't put alot in before the flop with AA. Joose is right on the number when he says you shouldn't have bet the pot on the flop, because it now limits your ability to reraise for info w/o getting pot committed.

As you said, you don't want to fall too much in love with your hand. AA is a great hand but it doesn't win every time, so even if its not a great move here, I'd just smooth call this.

There were no reraises preflop so he has no idea you have aces. That means you have no idea what hes raising with either, since an AK KQ or any K may think hes likely ahead here.

Theres still 2 streets so if you just call here, what are you gonna do if 2 blanks hit and he keeps betting putting you all-in?

or if a heart hits?

Kind of messy, but i think i shove here and probably go broke :D

It's also possible he's testing you to see if you were c-betting with air. The pot bet may even have led him to think that was the case, even though there are two high cards that you could have caught.

It's not often I have a three way indecision. I'm split on this one between calling and leading again a the turn, shoving, or folding.

He miniraised, which doesn't reveal much about his hand. Reraise big and see what he does.
