Hey guys.. Hope to get som input on this hand.

I call a small raise with Ac,4c...
Pot is 340$.
Flop comes Ah and two clubs. no other draws.
we are two in the pot same chipcount aprox..

he bets 300$ and I call. turn is a 2d and he bets 650$
I call again with my aa and the nut draw...
River is pairs the board and he goes all in..
I folded after some thinking..

Should I have played it otherwise??

With that much money in the pot, why in the world would you try to fish on a hand like that? $340 bet? I think I would have laid it down. Of course to me $340 is about a weeks pay. I am cheep and am also chicken.

If there is an ace and 2 other non paired cards on board there will always be at least an inside straight draw.

The play was to raise or fold after he bet into you on the flop, after that you have a mess on your hands. odds are pretty decent if this is a cash game that he had you beat, however anything other than AK, AQ or AA or some other set probably folds on flop if you reraise. If you dont fold him and it ends up being a race your still not in that bad of shape and you have taken away his bluff. If this was a cash game I might ease up on call downs at that level it can get expensive.

I dont think you have to fold on the flop as posted above, but I'd say when the board pairs the turn and he leads again you just let it go.

Was this a tourney, or cash game?

TP with nut flush draw is a raise on the flop. You don't mention position....

I would have laid this down, too. You had a flush draw, right? The title is AA Preflop, so I'm a little confused.
