Well tbh your $2 to the river looks like a weak lets-see-showdown with like a small pair or AK or something wierd like that; he could be on a steal or busted draw trying to bluff you out...

Of course he could also have the ten and be slowplaying you to the river...

By this point, he's giving us almost 3:1...I dunno, I can't make laydowns for the life of me, but I think I call.

I don't know about this one. A10 or K10 could definitely be possible. He could have been playing ultra tight fromt he flop, because he was afriad of the possibly flush draw hitting and didn't want to get reraised all-in by you on the flop, if he reraised the trips. I could see the trips here, but like Chuck said it would be really hard to let the AA go there at the river.

I'm guessing you called, right?

Okay, Ive been beating this up for a while. No real read on villian besides he is neither extreme(tight nor donkey). He calls a 4x bb raise from the button, so he has position... what would that narrow his range down to? I think a call with A-10, K-10 maybe even down to J-10(maybe, not likely)would be possible.
But with this hand, based on your betting pattern, if I were villian I'd think your bets smelled like CB's and you were just firing thinking I'd missed the pot also. But your also giving a flush odds to draw along. Alot of if's, but whats likely?
So what it comes down to is that you beat a busted flush, any unpaired high pockets (AK, AJ, KQ), and any pocket pair other than tens, 8's, 2's, and 6's. With the odds being 2.63 to 1, I would call. Personally I think villian had a medium pocket pair or busted flush. The betting would leave him to believe he could win with a bluff. IMAO:confused:

pot it

Think you should pot it on the flop. If he is a anytwo fish he will probably call the flop bet with flushdraws, straightdraws and under/overpairs. No need to bet less. Really hard to put anytwo fish on any range as they may very vell call your preflop raise with say 69 of hearts/j9 of spades........(hey all the pros play suited connectors, mine may not be connected, but who cares).
If you wanna know if he got the ten here you gotta bet more. As played i woulda called riverraise there.

Call... he probably has a busted draw and doesn't put you on a hand due to your incredibly weak betting.

Don't see monsters and think he has a Ten - this is very unlikely, and in any case with a Ten, he raises somewhere before the river. In fact if it's not a bluff, I would be less surprised to see him with pocket Sixes (calling weak flop and turn bets versus possible continuation betting with overcards then getting lucky), pocket Eights (weak player slow-playing but not thinking you'd call a raise), or 97 (you're giving him good odds with an open-ended draw). But generally this flop is good for you since no-one can get a better two pair.

Bet more on the flop (you bet $2 into a $4.75 pot??) -like $4. Bet more on the turn - like $9. Check the river if he calls the turn or put out a $10 blocker. You're in a tough spot if he then makes a big river bet or raise, but you can bin it with more confidence, depending on your reads.

As played you've basically failed to bet properly in the previous rounds and haven't got enough money in the pot with a big hand. However it means, playing you hand for what it's worth, you shouldn't think twice about calling for $9 here.

The way you've bet, you absolutely have to call at this point. As mentioned, a villain with a busted flush draw often plays it the exact same way, calling with the good odds, and, after seeing your continually weak bets, thinking he has a good shot to buy it on the river. But what is with the turn and river bets? The turn specifically is pretty bad considering what the board looks like.
