2/4 players usually dont re-raise K7, they might call with it but that all dosent matter 1 hand beat him, 77 was not re-raising so that limits it down to

AA
KK
AK

those are the only hands I see re-raising here unless guy is just throwing away money but wtf whyare we even discussing what he could have who cares just call.

Easy call. We're not playing 66 to a 3-bet (which I definitely don't like, being OOP), and then folding once we hit our set.

Not many hands will push if he's a remotely solid player, though...77, AK, KK, AA, maybe some overplayed QQ or even KQ...still, if we're calling this 3-bet PF, we have to stack here. I get the impression this is a set over set though.

i'm putting him on KK or 77 because if he didn't hold either hand there's a 98% chance this thread wouldn't exist.

but uh obviously stack off here, bad beat board is thataway ^^^

Doesn't Harrington on Hold 'em say you're supposed to lose all your money if you run into a higher set? It's about a 1000 to 1 chance that's the case or something

Phil Gordon says it's about 100 to 1. I would obviously call here. If you're not prepared to lose your stack with a set, you shouldn't have called the reraise. If he did hit top set on such a rag board, why would he make such a huge overbet? KK doesn't really make sense to me, more likely it's scared aces or something like that.

i'm very sorry that villain had KK this time, but it's a pretty easy call.

Hate the reraise call but once you have hit your set laying down is impossible! Hard luck on this occasion old chap.

i'd rather lose my stack here than hate myself for folding a set in case the villain only had top pair top kicker, or two pairs...

actually the reraise is fairly small all things considered, and we're getting the right implied odds (better than the minimum "requirement") to try to hit our set.. can easily be correct to call, depends a lot on how often you think the villain will stack off to you
