It's anybody's guess. Would it have made more sense for you to double barrel the flop and turn though? A really big bet, perhaps a shove on the turn would have made things easier to define and a lot easier to play. I hate check/calling when I'm first to play unless I have a much better hand.

You put yourself in a tough position, is stead of putting the guy that went allin post river in tough spot on the turn, ok so preflop action, 6 guys called the bb no1 raised, granted u did not had a raising hand in this case preflop u did ok, but then when the flop came, u had top pair and a flush draw, and what did u do, u checked, now how in hell do u plan to find out where u are in a 6 hand pot??? luckily for u seat 7 bet 15, seat 1 flats, u call and others fold, now from what i have seen so far i would say both seat 7 and 1 dont have a set, if one of them had pocket pair they would have raised preflop but they just called the BB, so for seat 7 i would put him on a A8 or A7 hand, and seat one on a flush draw, and right after the flop seat 7 bets 15, seat 1 calls, and here u should have raised at least to 30, with top pair and a flush draw i would have done so, but u just called, ok :D big mistake but ok, so the turn comes, and u have now top two pairs and a flush draw, what do u do, u checked, wwwoooowww slow rolling, but it could fire back at you this type of play, and ill tell you why, so what happens next, seat 7 bets again 15, now take notice, he doesnt bet 30, he bets 15, controlling the pot, just in case his A8 hand is not the best hand after the 9 came on the turn, seat 1 calls hes not just there yet with his flush, but hes getting a cheap shot almost free to hit his flush on the river, now u should have bet here big, i mean huuuuuuge raise, u know u already crushed seat 7 but if u have put seat 1 on a flush draw, he for sure would have made a bigger flush draw if he hits his card on the river, so u have to protect your hand against that, with a big bet here, but u didnt, you just called, and the river came another club, that made all your nightmares true, so seat 7 bets 20 seat 1 shoves for 210, and now u are left crushed, to fear his bigger flush, and u made a really tight fold with your flush that u thought was small, or he could have had just a st8, i checked the board there was a 7,8,9 and a J, he could have had hand like TJ or T6s, and u still would have been better at him with your flush, so all in all u made two big mistakes that cost you the pot, in stead of going it your way, seat 1 took everything :D u are a nit player, if u had been mb a bit more agro in this situation like i have suggested u could have taken the pot, but at the end i still would have not folded my flush, and thats abo abou abo, thats all falks :D

y so passive?

River:

beat 56cc/45cc

lose to A2/4/5/6/Tcc, KTcc, QTcc (AJ/AQ/AK/KQ probably raises pf)

so depends how bluffy they can be. Or if they play K7/6/5/4s hands pf too.

This is a bad fold.

If you're going to make a flush on the river and fold, why the heck are you not raising the turn?

1. Fold preflop.
2. Lead the flop.
3. Raise the turn.
4. Easiest call in the history of easy calls. You know any T thinks it has the nuts with the 4-straight on the board, right?

Very bad play, whats the reason for check calling for flush and when you hit the flush, not calling? Very bad play. And why check the perfect flop and perfect turn? You should 3bet them on the turn. Or lead the flop. Continue leading the river for 70percentage pot size and you should win that hand bro

Yeah, I think most of us have the same opinion about this hand. If i got to the river in your same spot I would have had to call but I might feel like I'm losing. It can be hard to make decisions quickly online, but if you are playing to trap the whole time w/o betting on the flop or turn then your plan has to be to call the river. He has too many bluffs + he could have hit a strait or worse flush. There are a lot of bad hands that could do this. There are flush draws that have you beat and you are letting them see more cards for a good price. I don't absolutely hate the check after flop, but you have to bet out the turn or check-raise. Yeah you can bet out and win a minimal amount with folds, but at least you would be the aggressor and making them have the hard decision.

That's what makes poker so good. I would have called just to see if it was a straight over there. A tough lay down hand that's all.

I wouldve checked flop and if someone raised I wouldve check raised. On turn lead out and bet 70% of pot and on the river I wouldve bet half pot... ...
