$10 NLHE ring game.
I'm UTG +1 and get dealt Ks Kc and $10.04 in chips.
UTG calls and I raise to 0.55 and I get 4 calls and 4 folds pot=$2.90.
Flop comes 3c Qh 2d and the UTG player goes all-in for $10.55.
I thought about it but folded...

Do you guys think this was a bad fold?

(No reads, hadn't been at the table for long.)

I Would think it was a bad fold, this is a $10nl ring and you'll get players calling your preflop bet with any Ace down to J-10 suited and any PP, the only thing beating you here is AA, QQ, 33 and 22.
TBH though I think villians holding was AQ, KQ or QJsuited.

If this was a $25 or $50 game would you still make the call?

Insta call on this one.

Other depends on reads, and way the opp has previously played.

I was a little off psychologically because the same exact scenario had happened to me like 10 minutes previous to this hand but the guy turned over pocket deuces for a set.

I'm very rarely folding KK on an aceless flop to an all in push.

Umm, villain could easily have AQ/KQ or a mid pair here, this is an absolutely routine call against an unknown.

The problem is that at these levels sometimes people overbet the pot like this when they hit a set or anything decent like that.

I would fold it, too.
But, the odds are in your favor.
I wouldn't have risked it though.

No way a set just shoves there, unless villain is just plain bad there are no real draws on that board. I will call this 100% of the time at 10NL and 25NL. Have not played any higher limits than this, so cannot say what I would do there.

You don't understand, theres this move... It's a trick play. It's even worked for me a few times. But when you hit somethin good and you feel like someone else has somethin decent as well, you just shove cuz then they're like wtf??? and a lot of times they'll think It's a bluff and call.

yea but this doesnt seem like the case if he had AA he would have reraised preflop....the only hand i can see him having to beat you is QQ and thats doubtful for me this is a must call

I wasn't worried about QQ or AA for those reasons but I def was worried about 22 or 33 and plus I still had 3 other plays behind me waiting to act.

a set rarely rarely overbet shoves like this, especially on a board so dry and unlikely to hit people. just because you've seen it happen once or twice does not make it routine. and if you have seen it, i can assure you it's very unlikely on a board like this. pleeeease call here and be up against AQ/KQ/QJ/something even dumber

this is an instacall for me at these limits and against an unknown. someone already said it but people put their aces on a pedestal in those limits, so i have no problem believing unknown has AQ.
