Been at this table for an hour or so, tight table, I am probably 15/9 or so shover is a lag..plays a lot of hands, small suited connectors, etc.. We have a lot of history on carbon......she wins some and I win some. Just not sure what she could be shoving here.

Plenty of draws out there, plus some worse made hands (including slowplayed overpairs) and some better hands. I think this is a call.

Could she be shoving 99+ in an effort to shut out the flush draw?.....I found this hand going through my hand histories and just struck me as strange. Tbh, I have played three hands "all in with full stacks" against her and lost all three (think it was AAvs my KK, my AA vs her 56 suited on a 556 flop and can't remember the other one), so that had some bearing on my decision. Just looking back I think you are right...only behind 55 at this point.

I'd probably call there too because of the high likelihood of being ahead -- you're only behind to 55 or an 8 with a better kicker. Long-term +EV especially against that type of player, who is likely to have an overpair or even a draw.
