No stats on villain, but he was playing short, I had stacked him earlier when he shipped overs+flush draw on the turn when I had trips. On the next orbit, he open-shoved 100 BBs from the CO when I was in BB.

What's my calling range?

Full Tilt, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
Hand History Converter by Stoxpoker

Hero (MP): $130.85 (261.7 bb)
CO: $168.70 (337.4 bb)
BTN: $100 (200 bb)
SB: $50.95 (101.9 bb)
BB: $178.65 (357.3 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is MP with T

Hero raises to $1.50, 2 folds, SB raises to $50.95 and is all-in, BB folds, Hero???

I only did a single fist-pump, should I go for the double fist-pump?

Cuz the notes on his mental state provide more information than stats....

This is almost never going to KK/AA because he'd want to trap you with those hands. It could perhaps be JJ/QQ some of the time, but I think that doesn't fit too well either, and even then we're just dealing with 12 combos. I think you'll find K5o a decent chunk of the time.

I call and turn my attention to another table.

When your up against maniacs of this nature I think it's important to adjust and open up your calling range. I think C9 got it spot on tbh.

Yeah I figured I was about 60% or so against his likely range....I almost never expect to be behind here -- 22 was far more likely than JJ+.

This is almost never going to KK/AA because he'd want to trap you with those hands.

Actually, if I suffered a pretty obvious bad beat and get dealt AA at the same table the next hand, i might just overbet shove it preflop because i'd expect people to believe it's tilt and call light. It's probably losing some value overall, but so much fun if it works. :D

The problem is for me to realise i was bad beated. Usually don't look at results of AI pots as i focus on other tables.

I call and turn my attention to another table.

+1, best attitude one can have.
