Sorry I mistitled it but you will get the idea when you read the HH.

Villian is irrelevant because I am concerned about the my flop actions here. I really didn't expect the original raiser to 3-bet here (for some reason) but I should have.

So was my .50 call with 3.2/1 odds too loose as my draw is pretty obvious?

Once I make the call for .50 I have to last .80 for pot odds alone right, 6/1 and my call closes the action.

WTF 8-way ftw.
Imo sb is pimping a set.

Can't say more cause I am too baked for odds atm.

I suppose it's not bad with the odds your getting to peel the turn here. I'm probably ditching this hand after if we don't hit.

With this many people in the pot, you're only drawing to 6 outs. Diamonds are either hand killers or action killers. If you knew you were going to have to pay $1.30 there's no way you stay in the hand, you'd need to win 2 stacks to make up for the 1/8 draw (assuming someone would be shoving a blank turn) As it is, there's almost enough in the pot already to give you odds to call... I don't know if I even call the original .50 though b/c I don't want to be in an 8 way to the flop pot without the best draw or hand. Straight draw wouldn't fair well against a set and a flush draw, which are possible holdings here.

I posted this becuase it did feel pretty spewy when I played it.

Anyway the turn was the 8c, it checked to me I shoved everyone except mp2 who called with A9o.

Sorry Steve. Some of us lazy bums are a little slow. Before the results were posted, I would have said:

I agree with D-wil. You only have 6 solid outs since the diamonds might not help.

Your first flop call was 3-1 on a 7-1 shot. Yes, with other calls behind, your pot odds would improve. But I also think the chances of the re-raise are also greater with 3 players behind. Plus with so many players, I'm not sure what that does to the strength and potential of your hand.

Your second flop call was 6-1 on a 7-1 shot. I like this one better since it is looking more like someone will stack and improve your implied odds.

Overall, I think your position actually made this tougher. I bet that, in early position or in the blinds, you probably would have folded this at some point. Either way, I'm glad it worked out for you.

tough choice.. You do have 2 overs to the board so . I think at a certain point you have to let that hand go though.. The re-raise sort of says fold but your are playing really low stakes so people play looser..
