Unless I have seen him doing some goofy stuff I let this go. Of course I also lead the turn and expect villian to fold a good portion of the time. You played it very passively so it might be bluff, but I am not a big fan or making hero calls.

Im always worried about overcards when say I have Jacks or Queens and a Ace or King flops I always assume villian has them. Also when I have Kings and an Ace flops I always put them on the Ace.
Think this is a problem I have, dont know why though.

Calling & folding are both fine. I probably lean towards calling since the K paired, so its less likely he has one. Plus all draws missed & donk bets like these are rarely anything good.

i'm in a similar position. it's psychological. Like you, i would probably have folded when he went all-in though.

it does look abit suspicious just outright shoving, but I was still worried about the Kings. Yeh its psychological also but I just cant seem to get over it lol

From a 54/14/4 this is an outright bluff, a 7, a 5, or a pp lower than jacks more often than it is a K.

I'd call it here. Theres no reason to shove with the King. If he had the King, I'd expect a smaller value bet on the river to make sure hes not gonna scare any other pairs away. If I was trying to guess, I'd probably put him on the missed club draw.

I think more info is needed such as the shover's more recent betting patterns and call frequentcy but in general an outright shove "hitting K" is suspect as most who hit the King indeed would value bet or maybe even attempt check-raise. Just my take on it.

I'm probably folding turn here. A 54/14 has a gazillion Kx hands in his limping range and all of them are playing exactly like this (trips are the nuts for him). As do sets. You would need to put a hell of a lot of air in villain's range to compensate for the size of his value betting range.

Also, river shove is more or less a pot sized bet, so there's nothing special about it.
