So I've managed to build up a bankroll and I'm upto 5NL, brand new to the forums. I'm gonna be posting a bunch of hands I'm curious about how I played. I feel much more comfortable in position obviously. Out of position I'm much more passive, I feel like my only edge is picking off bluffs based on bet sizes.

Is this fold here okay? Should I have check raised flop and led turn? I would have stuck in there with aq-ak, a10 I wasn't happy with the kicker

Poor play! You shall just squeeze from BB. Flatting with ATo OOP will lose you lots of money.

I think the way you played it, fold is absolutely fine there as villain's line looks pretty strong. He is the pre flop aggressor, c-bets into 2 opponents and fires again on the turn. Strong line that.

Also i do not think A10 is strong enough to 3bet pre flop out of position so your play was perfectly acceptable pre flop and post flop. :)

Preflop is squeeze or fold IMO depending on the villains. And postflop you see why.

To an unknown reg it is recommended (by coach Blackrain) that you should never be flatting in the bb to a raise from MP unless you have at least JJ or just want to set mine. Obviously every play is player dependant, if the original raiser folds to 3bets a decent amount you can squeeze. You might be able to play it against a loose fish but otherwise fold pre. It is likely a biggish leak in your game so have a think about what else you are calling in the blinds with.

Just to elaborate. Most 6max reg s from MP will be raising ideally 13-17% of hands and A10 falls outside of the top 14% so you are likely dominated by a stronger hand and out of position. Why would you want that?!

+1 good advice to get ya thinking bout your opp's ranges,

next try and include some reads or stats on your opp , and what your think his range is from pre to end . get used to doing thi and your game will improve and decisions will get easier

Nice advice! Reading opponents is always quite important.
