You are right my hands are typing faster than my brain is working just the actual results.
As for betting out when checked to, this is not my idea I got if from Miller and Sklansky's No Limit Hold'em Theory and Practice. You lead out here and assume he has a K because if he doesn't you aren't likely to win much more in the hand anyway. If he has nothing and you check he might bluff a small bet and then shut down when you call/raise. Sets are big pot hands so you are better off just assuming he has enough on the flop and just bet out to start pot building.
There are times when checking will be best but no need to get fancy at the micro's 99.99999999999999999% of the time.
