Eewww. Folding, calling, and getting it in pre all have their merits. I feel like preflop we have absolutely no fold equity though, so I'm leaning towards calling & playing poker on a flop.
Good flops for our hand are like 8xx (obviously), paired boards, or Q-9 high with no other cards higher than an 8 (for example, Q54 is a good board for our hand). We're not calling to set mine, we're basically calling to make a bluff catcher (mid-pair) & catch this guy bluffing
. Its certainly high variance though.
Given the min-raise, folding is also good. Its probably the safest play, but if you're like me & you like marginal barely +EV plays with high variance, then I'd go with call.
