The BTN has raised a lot preflop and shown down some marginal hands and I caught him bluffing once earlier. What do you guys think about my play here? Too reckless? I figured there's no way he could call an all in with 66-KK and he might have folded ace rag.

You have to be certain you are up against semi-decent players here. The all-in check-raise is a play I make a lot - as it's probably the biggest display of strength you can make at the poker table. Normally I reserve this for when I've raised out of position with A-K, check it when I've missed on the flop and then face a bet from my opponent after my check.

The poor players then call you with with bottom pair (5-6) or something, and you are in need of help. Good players will fold to this type of bet, but find yourself up against a donkey and you are in big trouble!

I liked your play, and it seems like you chose a good spot :)

Well of course it's a risky play b/c your gonna get looked up by AJ+ and I suspect maybe even AT. I like your line p/f, but your short stacked so your play on the flop is not that terrible as we fold a lot of hands as you say that maybe beating us.

How come your playing 200nl Ben, I thought you played a lot lower than that?

I actually very rarely make a check raise bluff like this, usually I just bet out 1/2 pot and then give up the pot to any resistance. It's a lot cheaper than a check raise bluff. Say he did have AK here, check raising would be very expensive for me compared to a 1/2 pot bet, but do you guys think check raising here was better than just betting? Do you think check raising is more likely to make him laydown, say ace 4, opposed to betting first on the flop?

I normally play these limits Jagsti but had to move down in limits for a while because I had a small bankroll. Just got $1500 from a friend for staking him a few months ago and I made a $2000 deposit a few days ago.
