There are three possibles hands your opponent has a big bluff doubtful though, a bigger kicker for the 2, or a spade flush draw. I would have to call though.

Well Im not used to stakes this high, highest cash ive played is 25NL and he could possibly be doing this with a flush draw or any pocket pair except for 7s although he could have A2, though not probably since you have the other 2. I have a feeling if he had pocket 7s he would just call your bet. I probably just call and hope that a spade doesnt come and hope he bets again on the turn so you can repop him.

obv 72.

He could be on a medium or small pair, 7x, 77, 2x, draw or a bluff.

The only reason I like just calling is because we might scare off 33 to ~99. If not after our reraise, then after our big turn bet (which we'll no doubt toss out). By smooth calling it'll also induce him to continue to bluff if he's betting with overcards here. He might also pick up a pair on the turn that he decides is good enough to hold onto.

yes. or if he has 88-99 (which was my original thought) he can shove about any turn.

i think the flush is part of his range, no doubt. but he could easily be drawing to a/x with only the a of spades. i'm more likely to get involved if he bets there than if he checks and i check behind. river gives me redraws to the fh, anyway. plus i'm really only worried about 77.

Though I was a donk when I played, my first cash game was a $200 max) and I was in a similar position. I wound up in the same situation. I wound up just calling so I didn't scare him with a raise, that pot grew to almost $250 by the time i took it at showdown. I'd say that's reason enough to just call, lol.

His play seems very passive. He limp calls with JJ. Is this common at 100NL or just this particular play? I'm thinking that pretty much anything else is a better play here from Villain.

If he'd opened for 4/5 would you call round the back?

Nice call on the flop, you gave him the opportunity to stack himself.

You can now have lots of fun on this table after raising $4 with 52s. Did the guy with JJ make any comments? Did he stay or leave the table?

Lol to his comment. On the other hand its ashame he left the table, he must've been on supertilt with the potential of easy money for you. I'm quite sure though he'll be looking for you some other day. You should start keeping these names on a notebook when you get their stacks on these superloose plays.
