Villain is ~50/7/0.5 and again I'm pretty TAG (~20/15/2). I put him on a flush draw maybe with a pair, which is why I bet the river. By his calls I was pretty sure he wasn't slowplaying a set or whatever, and like I said I had him on a draw which is why I kept betting. Should we be slowing down on the river?

full tilt poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with K♠ Q♣
UTG calls, 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: K♣ 8♦ 3♣ ($2, 4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.5, UTG calls, 2 folds.

Turn: 6♥ ($5, 2 players)
Hero bets $4, UTG calls.

River: 9♠ ($13, 2 players)
Hero bets $7, UTG calls.

Results:
Final pot: $27

Oh and stacks are ~$50 and ~$40 for me and him respectively.

Is he passive enough to limp-call down this board with AK? Maybe he's got A8c or something?

Not really. (answering question :- should we slow down)

TT/JJ/QQ calls. KJ KT calls.

vs a more aggresive opponent, we can c/c river to indice a bluff. As he is more passive, your line is good

Why didn't you raise this PF?

Apart from that I think you played it very well, and to answer the question I wouldn't slow down at the end. Welly has it spot on.

Why didn't you raise this PF?

I thought about it, but I was going to be out of position postflop vs two fairly loose players with a marginal hand and decided to check it this time. I'm pretty sure I was involved in several pots recently before this hand aswell and was sure to get a call from the two LAPs behind me.

There's of course a perfectly good case for raising too; I just thought I'd switch it up and just check.

*** SHOW DOWN ***
ChuckTs shows [Ks Qc] (a pair of Kings)
Aimhigh252 shows [Kh As] (a pair of Kings)
Aimhigh252 wins the pot ($25.65) with a pair of Kings

Consensus is pretty clear...I think I was a little results-oriented on this one. His line just confused me a little...I couldn't see an underpair calling to the river.
