I would raise preflop to steal the blinds and to narrow villains range.

As played I think you played it ok, although I would probably just check call the river, since this is an unraised pot it's possible villian could have that 2 especially since he has fired on the turn and river.

Blind vs blind i raise this exactly 100% of the time against an unknown.

I think that the river c/r is a little spewey tbh, unless the villian has shown a tendancy to bluff the river against a weak line then im usually calling. There is an implied danger of opening up the betting again with basically tpwk on the river especially when you hand has some showdown value. I bet-call or check-call the river.

I'm likely to raise preflop as well, though Ed Miller suggests raising more often with weaker hands (say Q5) than with ones that might draw and hit the board harder.

And agree with TB on the danger of the river raise.
