Villain here is 36/23/1 after 20 or so hands. I've been around 22/20 at this table and I've been regularly stealing for 3x BB from the BTN and CO.

If this was 6max, I'd cbet flop, get check raised, and then I can 3bet shove and villain folds.

As played, given villain's low post flop aggression so far, I'd be tempted to concede the pot, but I don't think calling would be a big mistake either. You only need to be good 30% of the time to make the call +EV and that sounds reasonable.

Rejoice, then. You didn't loose that much, and limited losses when you hit TPTK and villain hits a set is a great result, imo.
