My best guess would be a flush draw with the :ac4: . Really tough without any stats.

You could probably stack off 40bbs deep because most 40bb players are complete fish and will stack off with any ace here.

When you hit TPGK after you raised against a 40BB stack, it would almost never be a mistake to get it in. Your SPR on the flop was just over 4, and he could have a flush draw, FD + gutshot, or weaker ace. I would stick it in.

Fold preflop?

As played, there's nothing wrong with playing for 40bb stacks I guess.

Without stats I have no problem folding this from the SB preflop. As played, I also have no problem stacking here.

fold, he has A4.

Seriously though against a shortstacked unknown we have to expect enough flush draws, smaller aces and air here to get it in. I can't fold there.

I called , he showed ...

Result is A4.

And I'm guessing ChuckTs's amazing hand reading abilities come from reading my blog ;)
