Ive been ~24/22/2 this session
Villain is 20/14/1.2

For some reason when this hand played out I thought he was nittier than that, mustve looked at stats wrong.

Whats my plan for the rest of the hand here deep?

Invent time machine, go back in time and fold preflop to avoid exactly this kind of situation.

As played, check-call.

Double barrell here as villain likely has fl dr and we don't wanna give him a free card. You'll probably get value from a Q as well tbh. If he pushes, then that's gonna be spewville, but I hate giving free cards when the draw is there.

The other option is check/call, and get some value on a non-club river, but all things considered I like option 1.

Due to the fact we don't have a time machine i say we keep throwing.

We are either ahead or crushed at this point in my opinion, throw a lazy 20, watch villian fold or B) fold to the raise / check fold the river.

If i was playing the hand i would have been like Rex with the insta-fold but being in this situation it wouldn't get to the river, well for me anyway.

Why are we autofolding K8 on the CO?

i like betting the turn, sicne a Q is probably more likely to tag along after the K falls on the turn and it isn't all thatl ikely he has the case K. the fd is probably a good part of villain's range as well. you probably aren't going to get alot of action from a 1.2 af unless you are in very bad shape here anyways, so if you get shoved on the turn, this deep you may have to consider folding. But I doubt this villain is going to make a move at you without the basic nuts tho so i don't really see betting the turn as that risky, and there is alot of value to extract on this board from a relatively stationary player.

as for k8 preflop, totally depends on your vpip. i'm plyaing 6 max at 25/23 now or so, so i'd open k8 from the co but obviously it is a fine fold if you are playing a tighter style. even w/ 25 vpip i like playing pretty tight from utg/+1 so obviously while your bread and butter is the button you have to play alot of hands from CO as well.

I definitely don't mind the raise pre flop, it's just unfortunate so many people decided to tag along.

I definitely bet out on the turn, if he raises I would call and probably check call a reasonable bet on the river as well. You are going to get value out of a queen most of the time since people give no credit on a paired board.

Preflop is a little loose, but it's fine with me.

Once we get trips, we want to get some more money in the pot but don't want to play for stacks. I think I check villain's fold to cbet stats to decide if his call on the flop is more likely a draw or a float. If I think he has a draw I'll bet to make him pay for the river card. If I think he's more likely floating, i'll check-call.

PF looks fine to me as long as the other two players aren't on the loose side.

I'm basically with belgo here. The decision to bet or not depends on what kind of range he's flatting the flop with, and we need some other reads/stats to determine that. The more he floats, the less I want to bet. If his flop calling range is tighter, it will be limited mostly to Kx/Qx/draws and we can safely bet that range for value.
