Back to 50NL after grinding 15k hands at 25NL the last two weeks to wash out the bad luck, but i was really starting to be ridiculously overrolled for it. :D

MP raiser looks like a solid 19/15/inf TAG.
CO cold caller is a 81/22/2 fish
BTN is a 32/27/4 LAG.
We've been playing 18/10/3 at this table so far for about 40 hands.

What's our play/line, here?

-----

Full Tilt, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
Hand History Converter by Stoxpoker

MP: $50.15 (100.3 bb)
CO: $211.40 (422.8 bb)
BTN: $50 (100 bb)
SB: $113.30 (226.6 bb)
Hero (BB): $60.25 (120.5 bb)
UTG: $40.50 (81 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is BB with Q

UTG folds, MP raises to $2, CO calls $2, BTN raises to $8.75, SB folds

Button is obviously squeezing super light. I get it in here. With that much money in the pot, the LAG could certainly be inclined to stack worse.

Calling isn't absolutely terrible since it likely keeps the fish around, but I like just jamming it in.

RAM N JAMM

Seriously, stack this all day. It might get marginal if MP jams, but by then you'll be committed anyways.

Think a small 4-bet to like 21$/calling a shove would be better than jamming? Think the LAG is dumb enough to think he has FE? Prolly not, just another option to consider. Especially since I like bluffing shoving, and I rarely 4-bet bluff small.

I did shove and all villains folded.

But it did make me wonder

1. was I not loosing some value by doing that?

2. since it looks so much like a light squeeze from BTN, shouldn't I 4bet resteal super light here? What's the range of hands I can do that with?

ughhh, cold 4bet bluffing is so sexy. The ranges ahead of you are crazy wide, but the thing is that CO is so bad and BTN probably isn't great either that you'll often get called or shoved on with a lot worse than you'd expect. Ideal cold 4bet bluffing in my mind is when a 24/20 raises the button, observant, light 3-betting 24/20 comes over the top in the SB and you repop in the BB.

Range of hands doesn't matter since you're folding them to a shove. I guess it's a little better with suited connectors/baby pairs to have something to fall back on in case you get called, but that really shouldn't make much difference. How often you do it should matter though, and tbh I can't help you there. I can't remember if you're on stox or not, but go look up the stoxsheet - it basically solves the preflop raising/reraising game and should help a lot there.

I typed 'jam' in my other post, but what I really meant was that we should be happy getting QQ in there pf - I didn't meant to say shove vs 4betting small. And I do in fact like 4betting small here since CO is so bad and the button is also bad enough to look you up slightly lighter.

I was thinking shove against a guy with this line if you believe in his stats up to that period too.
