This is the same villain in the other hand, he's a 69/17/1 who 3bets 17%. We make the straight at the river ... are we betting 1/2 pot? Are we betting pot? Do we even bet at all? What if he raises our bet?

I think we definately have to bet the river here. I would probably bet about $8 here or so. As far as wether or not we should call a raise, I think it's a little tricky because there's a good chance villain could overvalue a straight here with just the jack. If he makes a huge raise I'm probably going to fold. Something smaller like a minraise to 3x our river bet I would be more apt to call.

I believe i fire a second barrel on the turn.

On river it's a clear bet-fold.

I don't play at this level ( I'm a 10NL guy) But why wouldn't you value bet
here. Are you considering the villain's stack size ??
What factors are making you hesitate here.
Please explain
Is it the paired board, the 3 to a flush that you let happen by not betting the turn? And not betting the turn gave you no info so now you are stuck on the river with broadway and afraid to bet.
I need to know...
PS.. He didn't follow along with Q-9 did he .......na no way.

if he had a pocket pair he would have probably raised pf as his pfr is high. thus i'm thinking he called the flop bet with either pair 9s, oesd, or trips. with this range at the river you're most likely beat or looking at a split pot. betting here will only be called by better or equal hands, i don't see him calling a river bet with pair 9s

Why not check call?

Seems it would save you the $ from when he comes over the top and possibly induce him to bet some hands he would just fold to your bet like possible trips or two pair.

Hello,

I'd bet all in and hope villian has trips. Any value size is not going to be called and all in looks bluffy. Ship it and hope for a hero on the river.

Definitely i would bet/fold in the river. If he raises i think is instant fold cause you don`t know him, by your stack you probably just entered the table, although that limp he mad pre flop doesn`t put him in the hands to make a full boat.
