The SB is an idiot 71/22/1 player and the CO is 79/2/1 . Yes juicy table indeed.

Anyways I hit my set and bet it, get 2 callers and one the draws fills in the form of a turn 9 for a possible straight.

BB: checks
Hero bets [$4]
MP calls [$4]
SB calls [$4]
BB: folds

** Dealing Turn ** [Potsize: $19]
:9s4:
SB bets [$17.40] [ all-in ]
Hero: ????

Basically we have a set, the draw hits and our villain just shoves. Possible over-set? Did he hit that straight? I tend to think so. To complicate matters we have a drooler to my left as well in this hand. Thoughts?

I can never lay this down even though we're beat more often than not. He could have J9 as well. The fact that MP looks like he's on a diamond draw and might come along gives me more incentive to call because it'll be a nice pot if we fill up.

We're getting 2:1 on our call, and we need 3:1 to fill up. I'm not sure we can ever narrow his range down to just KQ though. I is calling, though I expect to behind a good amount of the time.

i find this funny but it depends on his nationality.. a lot of people i play with on such tables apparently just bet on anything are usually from russia, germany. ofcourse not all of them but usually those are soo aggressive players. i believe he had a high pocket pair and thats it.. i would say AA or KK
.so did hero fold?

please bet more on flop. it's a draw heavy flop and two fishes, so it deserves a pot sized bet for sure. and it makes the hand so much easier to play.

as played, it's still a clear call. you're still ahead a lot of times. you have a ton of outs when behind, and MP could improve your odds by overcalling. The bottom line is: no way we fold a set 46bb deep against fishes.

I think he was slow playing 2 pair J 10 and when a diamond did not hit on the turn, he shoved hoping everybody goes away.
I never fold a set ....... but thats just me.

I'm not sure this information can exactly be used to make this type of decision. Anyway, I'm with the rest of the crowd..I call, and maybe even the 3rd player makes the call, giving even better odds if the shover just happens to have a KQ.
