It's way outside my current BR but I very cautiously 2 tabled 50nl for some fun last night with no HUD (couldn't play on normal laptop and PT3 doesn't cover 50nl anyway).

Here are 2 of the more interesting hands, one played very passively and one where I am the aggressor, and made a reasonably small value bet on the river with my non-nut hand. I know the preflop call is loose in hand 1.

Probably should have raised in hand 1? But at which point is best? On the turn I was a little scared of the Ad and on the river I'm scared of Ad or a boat when the board pairs so I just stationed it. I was just scared in general lol.

Would you have bet the river bigger in hand 2, or is it a nice sized value bet?

Why fold river in hand 1? My river check looks weak so plenty of worse hands can bet here I think.

Fold PRE in hand 1. Calling with QJo from SB vs an UTG open is NOT going to be profitable.

It's not just loose, it's a losing call.

You should be getting all in with hand #2.

Ideally yes, but that's kind of hard to do. I mean the effective remaining stack size is something like $42 on the river. Pretty hard to get called by much we beat other than the case King if we shove. I do like betting a bit bigger on the river though (~$13).

You mean shove the river? I can't see much at all that I beat calling a shove except KJ, and maybe lower Kx hands

He's not value betting the Jd. I don't think he's bluffing enough to call. He can have a lot of Adx hands given he opened UTG and he has a lot of boats. It's actually a pretty easy fold.

and yeah pre in #1 is really throwing away money, not something you want to do when shot-taking.

Yeah, but you know you have a stackable hand on the flop, and the board is fairly wet.

So I'd like at least one of two things to go down:

1) Bet more everywhere, especially on the flop & river. The flop's wetness we talked about. The fact that the flush draw missed, we're blind vs. blind, and people just think you're bluffing on paired boards makes the river a good spot to bet larger because you'll likely be called down lighter.

2) Check/raise the turn. You're OOP, and your opponent has a wide range. And a lot of that range has a bad draw with no implied odds, and not much showdown value. Seems like a great spot to go for that "**** you floater" line. Plus it allows us to bloat the pot and possibly get the nickels in.
