$50 NL HE Heads-up: river c/r - turning a pair into a bluff vs a reg

so i'm finally posting a hand:

Seat 1: hero ($94.50 in chips)
Seat 2: villain ($74.45 in chips)
villain: posts small blind $0.25
hero: posts big blind $0.50
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to hero [4c Ac]
villain: raises $1 to $1.50
hero: calls $1
*** FLOP *** [4d 9s 7d]
hero: checks
villain: bets $2
hero: calls $2
*** TURN *** [4d 9s 7d] [Kh]
hero: checks
villain: bets $4.75
hero: calls $4.75
*** RIVER *** [4d 9s 7d Kh] [8c]
hero: checks
villain: bets $9.50
hero: raises $22.50 to $32

in terms of reads, this guy is a decent winning reg, and he's had a couple successful river hero calls against me, but i've also shown up with the nuts when c/r'ing a couple times. this is my first river c/r. he has folded to almost every single flop c/r of mine.

note the bet-sizing

It's ok imo. But i think the turn was a better spot to bluff with that K and everything. Plus a bluff on the turn would have been cheaper.

meh don't like it too much. 56 is the only legit hand that you could have, and even that do you call 2 streets oop with it? Maybe 56dd, but even that you probably raise flop with. You really don't have any sets in your range (maybe you ch/c twice with 88?). You just can't rep much and some draws missed so he should be calling you down light if he really is a decent reg. I guess it's possible you C/R a K here for the reasons above. I guess bottom line is if he folds hands like JJ/QQ here or a hand like T9. If he folds these good play, but if you think he's capable of calling you down here (which is pretty reasonable, because like I said you can't rep much and most people don't raise a K here, and a flush draw missed) I don't like it.

Folding to flop ch-raises and folding to river ch-raises are obviously two completely different animals (his range on the river after triple barreling will be way strong on average vs his range after just raising pf and cbetting), and I too don't like this all that much. Don't think it's horrible, but I don't think your average 50nl player will be able to fold TT or even 9x or better here.

This bluff really depends on his play and your image. If he is a regular I think he calls with a pair of 9s. What really concerns me about this, like Zach said, he could def put you on a missed flush. If there wasn't a flush draw on flop I would like this a lot more

Making plays like this in 50NL I dont think works often enough to be profitable. Like it has been said many guys will look this up with even a pair of 9s.

It's a little fancy. I mean its a good play if your read waas strong.
Even though you can't really be repping many extremely strong hands, online you only have so much time to make your decision; so he might not have even been able to go through all your hand possibilities. It's a good move, but like the ones above me said if he has any sorta hand he'll call, i mean its .25/.50 stakes.

terrible play...its not worth the checkraise here unless a diamond came on the flop..this is too loose
