$50 NL HE Heads-up: river c/r - turning a pair into a bluff vs a reg
so i'm finally posting a hand:
Seat 1: hero ($94.50 in chips)
Seat 2: villain ($74.45 in chips)
villain: posts small blind $0.25
hero: posts big blind $0.50
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to hero [4c Ac]
villain: raises $1 to $1.50
hero: calls $1
*** FLOP *** [4d 9s 7d]
hero: checks
villain: bets $2
hero: calls $2
*** TURN *** [4d 9s 7d] [Kh]
hero: checks
villain: bets $4.75
hero: calls $4.75
*** RIVER *** [4d 9s 7d Kh] [8c]
hero: checks
villain: bets $9.50
hero: raises $22.50 to $32
in terms of reads, this guy is a decent winning reg, and he's had a couple successful river hero calls against me, but i've also shown up with the nuts when c/r'ing a couple times. this is my first river c/r. he has folded to almost every single flop c/r of mine.
note the bet-sizing
