Please tell me the 3 ways to play JJ and all the times you've lost with JJ but not how you would play the hand. TIA

I'm not real excited about playing JJ in a 5 way pot, and neither are you. Seems like an easy 3-bet to me.

Equity - Hand Range
50.184% - { JdJs }
49.816% - { 99+, AQs+, AQo+ } (5.1% of hands)

Sure, if you assume he doesn't pop up 99 and TT from the SB, we become an under-dog, but we still need to 3-bet to get heads up. Sure, nothing worse calls our 3-bet, but we can get him to flat AK/QQ/AQ once in a while and out flop them. Or he'll make a nitty fold with one of those hands. Either way, I prefer a line of 3-bet/fold to 4-bet here.

There is 3 ways to play JJ and they're all wrong lolololololol!12!1!

I would 3bet to 7.50 or so and fold to a 4bet from the SB because he's such a nit. If one of the limpers raises for some reason it's probably a fold unless they are awful. Calling isn't awful because you'll get a multi way pot and you'll be playing pretty much entirely for set value but I think I like raising more because there is quite a bit of dead money out there already.

I'd 3b this as well i think..

If you think there is much of a chance of one of the limpers cold calling the 3b I might be more inclined to just flat the jacks and play for set value. I don't expect this will be the case very often but worth mentioning.

I don't hate flatting it regardless either even though you are basically just playing for set value since that won't get rid of the limpers.

Good enough, just wanted a little confirmation that a 3bet was best.

I made it $8 and it folded to the SB who pushed.

I fold and he shows TT then says in the chat box "I knew you could only call with AA". Obviously, he doesn't know me very well, lol.

It did make me wonder if I'd lost value by 3betting in the 1st place instead of just playing for set value and it also made me think about what range I would call with after the SB shoves. KK+ obviously but what about QQ / AK??
