$50 NL HE Full Ring: Overpair Line Checks

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 26/9/8

Sample: 47 hands

Is it ok to call this flop re raise firstly and then turn line ? Its a pretty obvious fold I think but what sort of range is villian overbet shoving the turn with ?

poker stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players
Hand History Converter by Stoxpoker

snap call, you lose to so few hands and i doubt he'd overshove turn if he had a 4, this is a wide range of pp's more than anything else, most likely KK-TT

That's pretty much the greatest board in the world for you to call his shove.

His aggression factor says that he could be doing this with as little as UI overs.

Snap call, fist pump.

So we arent worried about 99 or some kinda 4, 44 or 45?
I see he could be doing this with 10s, JJ, QQ or maybe KK but if he has a 99 or some kinda 4 is it just a cooler?

Given the stats on this player, I call here very easily. I think 1010, JJ are both quite possible, as well as the random 89s/109s.

If this villain was a 15/12/1 then you could think set but this guy, given his aggression (albeit only 47 hands) he could have middle pair or just the draw and be doing this. Easy call. Obv, since you're posting here, I am guessing you called and he showed up with 44 for quads?

*raises eyebrows*

Wow. I snapcall this.

A few things to consider: our line looks a lot more like AK than it does AA or something else strong. Villain probably figures he's good with A9, T9, 98any pocket pair... and obviously the stuff that beats us too. But I definitely don't think he needs a monster to be betting here.

And the size of the bet makes me think he really doesn't want a call. Surely trips or better makes a smaller bet, something that AK or a medium pair can call?

i thought he had a set or a boat since he re raised the flop and then shoved turn. However if I think about it why the **** would you just shove a boat, you would bet it properly sigh :(

Jurn don't sweat it, every single person at CC has posted a hand they've biffed a LOT more than this. It happens, it will continue to happen, the idea is that you minimize mistakes as it's impossible to 100% eliminate them.

Who knows, you may have made the right call. Sometimes people do hit those trips and want to extract the most money from you. :)
