$50 NL HE Full Ring: KK Flop Raise vs Aggro LAG (messed up, advice needed)

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 18/10/14

Flop Line Check and turn line.

I think this maybe a bad flop to Cbet as its a good flop to 3bet bluff IP (I think)

I think I totally messed this hand up by then calling his re raise. Could somebody please tell me how to play this hand.

You play this hand for stacks. Other than the flush draw that board hits NOTHING. He's way too aggressive for his own good so I actually like calling his flop raise (he's raising because he knows this board completely missed your range), checking to him on the turn, and then jamming over his turn bet.

AF of 14, is that over a decent sample? He's helping you get the money in when you absolutely want to. WVHillbilly's advice is great. Call the flop raise, an aggressive villain like this will fire again when you check the turn, and c/r all in.

tbh guys this is a hand where I think im a nit and just assuming he has a set and let it go. I wish I could snap out of this shite because I could be winning so much more.

Does everybody think we're playing for stacks here ?

You can NOT give this guy credit for a set. If his agg factor was .01 maybe but if you let this aggtard push you off an overpair here I hope you left the table right after this hand because you're getting owned.

I just sighed because I know that im weak postflop and do get owned OOP with this sort of hand. I mean I have to do some work on that, or Im just going to get pwned at 50nl+.

There are only 4 ways he could have a set. If you think he'll play TT and JJ the same way up until this point, that's THREE TIMES MORE LIKELY than a set.

You're playing for stacks. Just calling the flop and check/raising the turn is a good line. 3-betting the flop could work too, if you make it small enough so that he can try to outlevel you by shoving his air.

WV thats why I said I got owned.

Vanq put it well in another thread, Basically Im giving villians too much credit and think they always have a set or something better than I do and im just throwing money down the drain by not being aggro enough in these sort of spots

I like your line up to this point (i haven't read other comments yet btw)

villain is repping a SUPER narrow range...basically he's repping 99, 3x and flush draws. MAYBE an overpair like TT/JJ. Maybe A9 too.

Basically this flop never hits him. I really like your line to this point as it is going to induce all sorts of action from this dude...

if that 14 AF is over any kind of semi decent sample I'm jamming over his turn bet allllll day long!

he's gnna fold a lot and probably call with significantly worse (good chance he calls you with TT or a flush draw that is no longer getting odds)

If you call and he shows up with 99 (or the random 3), well... that's variance for ya. He's going to show up with a hand worse than yours i'd wager 90% of the time or more.

ship it!

cool that dude just like full on copy and pasted me

as for this hand, I think calling flop and crai on turn is cool, as is min 4 betting flop and causing a spaz shove

*walks in late*

It's pretty much all been said above - I'd be playing this one for stacks, no way can we be giving villain credit for a hand that beats us often enough to fold.

push back! He doesnt have the best odds of getting a flush on the river if thats what he is waiting for. Knowing he is a LAG player just push all in and collect the pot
