Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 18/12/1

right, I played this hand horribly.. everyone agreed? ok.

now I want to see CC's different opinions on how every street should/would've been played in my spot.

you can go into as much detail as you like, but personally I'd like to see an analysis on each street and why in a basic format at least.

one word/one sentence replies aren't needed -.-

if you can, explain the range he continues with and the range he folds/ the range we beat or whatever on each street and plans for future streets/certain cards etc, that'd really help me.

so villain is a 18/12/1/3B-7/3BST-25 over 125 hands.

I would 4 bet pre and fold to a 5 bet.

The flop is okay for us and we're still ahead of most of his range (Ax, 22-AA, tons of SC and one gappers) here so I like a c/c.

The turn is a pretty bad card, gives him chances to barrel with hands like Q10 , 78 and all the stuff that hit him hard. I probably c/f the turn. We're behind his range and if he barrels the river we're in trouble, so I hate a c/c. Dont think we rep much with a c/r either (K10, QJ which we probably dont flat 22 and maybe 99). Obv donking the turn doesnt rep much either.

Just my attempt at analysing

OOP with AQo in a big pot deep sounds like a winning recipe to me!

Playing 250 deep, I can't see how this is ever a call preflop. I could maybe be talked into a 4-bet/fold, but that just puts more $ in with a RIO hand IMO.

Also, I have 3 acronyms ITT.... errr four! :D

Well based on villain's stats he is pretty tight. As was suggested above, a 4bet would allow you to narrow his range quite a bit and take control of the hand. Because his 3bet could've been in response to the fact that you raised after everyone else folded, your 4bet would establish that you actually have a real hand...if he 5bets you then he is establishing that he has a stronger hand and you should fold. But if he flats or folds then you can likely represent a strong hand on a king high flop and take it down with a cbet.

Pre-flop:

Obviously, A-q is raise worthy here. However, after the three bet, I agree with some of the others about 4 betting. It would give you some valuable info. Since you are entering what is going to likely be a slugfest OOP, info would help alot preflop.

Flop: If you are going to check here, I would have just surrendered to the bet. But I know one of my weaknesses is I am easy to bluff. It is likely villain has A-K here or better. I would have just c/f the flop in your shoes. I don't know how you can proceed. And I really don't like ace/queen especially OOP.

Streets after the flop are irrelevant as I think you blew it by c/c the flop. It appears weak.

I know I am not as knowledgeable as many of you on here, and perhaps I am too conservative. But I don't like being OOP in big pots. I play aggressive when I feel it is right. But I just loathe being OOP in big pots when I miss the flop pretty much entirely.

I am sorry if this isn't a great response. I am just trying to offer my two cents.
