Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
SB ($12.50)
BB ($29.45)
UTG ($32.21)
Hero ($25)
UTG+2 ($43.59)
MP1 ($25.35)
MP2 ($25.84)
CO ($25)
BTN ($27.25)

Dealt to Hero Q:spade: A:club:

UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.25, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, UTG raises to $2.25, Hero?

60 hands and villain is 60/0 and basically never folds a flop.

Is this always AA, KK, QQ? And if so can I call with the implied odds of hitting and Ace and getting stacks in?

I think you def. have to include AK in that range and against QQ+/AK you have 25% equity. If he really never folds KK/QQ when an A falls, you're getting plenty enough implied odds to call the min bet but it's still going to be pretty close postflop if the Ace falls.

Take out AK and it's about the same equity wise preflop but you're actually much better off postflop when the Ace does hit.

So yeah if he can't fold KK/QQ on an Ace high board I call here 100%.

I don't think I would call the 1 here because of the bad position after the flop, the only reason I would consider is because if the ace does flop and your right then it might be a nice pay off, but if he is holding any a/k or so if a ace hits you might behind because of the position.

We have position on villain...

OP: use limping stats in your hud: limp-call, limp-fold, limp-raise. Helps a lot with decisions like this and I imagine you see a lot more limps at micros, so this would help doubly so.

I think when someone limp-raises any significant amount pf, they usually have the nuts, in which case I don't think you're getting odds to call. Here we're getting a lot better odds, and I usually call, but not because I think his range is QQ+/AK or whatever, but because 1)if he does have a range that tight, we're probably getting odds to call anyway, 2) he doesn't always have a range that tight, so we're often doing better than we think, and the odds are even better as a result, and 3) we have position which makes playing top pair, and playing the whole hand out just easier in general.

Just looking at stove, on an Ace, rag, rag board we are 52% against QQ+ AKs, AKo.

I didn't put it in original post but I have seen this guy limp JJ and AKo before this hand (and call to the river with over cards) so for him to raise I really think it is mostly a big hand but even still I guess he could be spazzing a little, getting a little crazy on us...

Anyway, I did call and managed to get stacks in by the river. Just checking to see what others thought about an uncommon situation.
